About

The X-ray inspection platform of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Xiamen University is an advanced laboratory focusing on X-ray nondestructive testing technology, which is committed to the design, development, testing and industrial application of X-ray advanced instruments and equipment. The laboratory has a number of self-developed prototypes of instruments and equipment, covering cutting-edge technologies such as X-ray absorption spectroscopy, circulating orbit streamlined DR transmission imaging, spectral CT material separation imaging, etc., which are widely used in industrial testing, biomedical imaging, security and other fields. At the same time, the laboratory actively carries out industry-university-research cooperation, promotes technology industrialization, and jointly develops and promotes a number of innovative detection systems with enterprises. The platform also serves teaching and discipline construction, organizes innovation and entrepreneurship projects, guides students to participate in science and technology innovation competitions, and has achieved a number of achievements in scientific research, including the first broadband light source X-ray absorption spectroscopy, hyperspectral CT concept, etc., published high-level papers and won a number of honors.
