Ph.D. in Solid Mechanics from Tsinghua University, Postdoctoral Fellow in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University, National High-level Talent; He is currently a Nanqiang Distinguished Professor of Xiamen University, Chief Scientist of the Aircraft Design Engineering Center, Director of the Fujian Provincial Intelligent Sensing and Instrument Collaborative Innovation Center, Vice Chairman of the Structural Health Monitoring Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials, and Vice Chairman of the Intelligent Composite Materials Professional Committee. He has been engaged in the research of major equipment structure health management technology for a long time, and his related achievements have been reported by NASA Science and Technology Bulletin for five times, published more than 200 academic papers, and obtained 18 authorized American invention patents and more than 30 Chinese invention patents. He has won many awards such as the NASA Original Innovation Award, the NASA Space Activity Award, the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award, the Third Prize of the China National Invention Award, and the First Prize of Fujian Science and Technology Progress Award.
