Fang Zheng, male, Doctor of Engineering, Professor of the Department of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering of Xiamen University, Doctoral Supervisor, National Project Evaluation Expert of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Winner of the China Advanced Technology Transformation and Application Competition. He has visited the University of Rhode Island, The University of Chicago and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute three times. At present, he is a communication judge of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a senior member of the Chinese Society of Composite Materials, a high-level talent at the Fujian provincial level, a project evaluation expert of the Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology, a project evaluation expert of the Fujian Provincial Department of Education, a leading entrepreneurial talent of the Xiamen "Double Hundred Plan", and an executive director of the Xiamen Instrument and Control Society. Academic Expertise: X-ray Detection, Imaging Spectroscopy, Hyperspectral CT, X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy. For the first time, the concepts of broadband light source X-ray absorption spectroscopy (BL-XAS) and hyperspectral CT (HXCT) were proposed. A real-time industrial CT detection system has been designed, and its core technology intellectual property rights have covered representative countries on 5 continents. Curriculum vitae

In 1998, he graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in industrial electrical automation.

In 2001, he graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering of Naval University of Engineering with a master's degree in control theory and control engineering.

From 2001 to 2003, he worked as a hardware engineer in the CDMA division of Shenzhen ZTE Corporation.

From 2004 to 2008, he was engaged in the research of medical imaging in the National Optoelectronic Laboratory of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, obtained a doctorate degree in engineering, and was rated as an outstanding doctoral student of the university.

In 2008, he entered the postdoctoral research station of the Institute of Image Recognition and Artificial Intelligence of Huazhong University of Science and Technology as a lecturer.

From 2010 to 2011, he was invited to visit the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island.

In 2011, he joined the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Physics and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Xiamen University, with the title of associate professor, and served as the class teacher of Electrical Class 1.

In January 2013, he visited the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan.

In 2014, he was awarded the excellent evaluation of Xiamen University.

In 2015, it was incorporated into the Department of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering of the Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

In the summer of 2016, he went to Chicago for a short-term study visit.

In August 2016, he was awarded the title of professor in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xiamen University.

In July 2017, he obtained the qualification of doctoral supervisor from Xiamen University.

In October 2017, he was hired as the executive director of Xiamen Instrument and Control Society.

In March 2019, he was awarded the A1 Grant by the China Scholarship Council for Senior Research Scholars, Visiting Scholars and Postdoctoral Programs.

In May 2019, he was elected as a member of the Professorial Committee of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xiamen University.

In 2019, he was selected as the 12th batch of leading entrepreneurial talents in the "Double Hundred Plan" for introducing high-level talents in Xiamen.

In 2020, he was hired by the Committee of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Xiamen University of the Communist Party of China as the red tutor of the "Precision Testing Graduate Party Branch" of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Xiamen University.

From 2020 to 2021, he was invited to visit the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Research at Renslier University of Technology.

In March 2021, he published the monograph "Research on Key Technologies and Applications of X-ray Inspection", ISBN 978-7-5615-8068-4 (the seventh series of Nanqiang Books of Xiamen University).

In September 2021, he served as the class teacher of the 3rd class of the engineering experiment of Xiamen University.

Research Interests

Scientific instruments and intelligent equipment, including intelligent manufacturing related equipment, X-ray detection, battery management, multispectral data processing, etc., related technologies involve: intelligent algorithm research in Matlab environment, embedded system, deep learning algorithm research based on Python language, Visual Studio environment programming, system integration and control, optical and mechanical structure design.
